Tory Burch Met Gala & Embellishments
During the spring of 2026, I supported the embellishments team at Tory Burch on the Met Gala couture gowns and the development of seasonal collections. My role during the Met Gala was to assist with design refinements for the looks worn by Laufey and Camila Morrone. I hand-beaded sections of the gowns, used tea-stain dyeing techniques to achieve the perfect shade of ivory, and hand-sewed small thread flowers.
Within the seasonal collections, I helped develop embellishment layouts that were then used in the mainline collection. I utilized handwork techniques along with Adobe Illustrator layouts to communicate techniques with overseas vendors.
