Designer and Fiber Artist

In design, I am most drawn to merging old and new practices, particularly through weaving. My studies have led me to find a deep passion for women’s apparel and how it can intertwine with handwoven textiles. Slowing down clothing production can start at the loom through bespoke textile creation, a practice I have explored over the past four years. I find solace while creating, and I am working to learn more about my process and how to focus on environmentally conscious design.

In May of this year, I graduated from the Textiles and Fashion Design program at The University of Wisconsin-Madison with a minor in entrepreneurship. I have taken coursework in sewing, patternmaking, draping, Adobe Suite, textile science, weaving, marketing, and print design. I have completed a design internship with LoveShackFancy in New York, and am working at Shopbop this summer in Madison as an assistant stylist
